MIE's Health Investors Summer Gathering: Impact Measurement and Management
MIE convened health investors from multiple organizations Aug. 1 to discuss Impact Measurement and Management (IMM) and how investment decisions can be tied to recognized social impact measures such as IRIS+, The Happiness Quotient, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Attendees shared their thoughts on IMM best practices as well as the strengths of frameworks such as IRIS+ and the SDGs. Challenging questions were discussed, such as how to balance gathering data without overburdening grantees, and cutting-edge resources were shared to help find solutions for health IMM issues. At the end of the session, one fact seemed evident: using IMM frameworks can make a significant difference in the world of health investing. We look forward to future gatherings of our health investors group and invite you to check out our upcoming programs.
