Privacy Policy and Terms of Use

This privacy statement discloses the privacy practices for Mission Investors Exchange®.

Event Attendance Policies

By attending the Mission Investors Exchange National Conference, webinars, or other events, you agree to be photographed or video recorded by our event photographers and videographers. MIE may use your image or voice for informational, publicity, promotional, and/or reporting purposes in print or electronic communications.

We accept event registrations and accept credit card payments via the internet, through a third-party vendor. Our security policy is outlined in the next section below. We collect contact information (name, mailing address, telephone number, email, etc.) and this information is used to process the registration fee and may be made available through a list of event registrants only to other participants. Contact information collected through the registration form is added to our general database for internal use only. We may use this information to send communications about our network activities, and to send notices about new products and services available through Mission Investors Exchange.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Individuals who need to cancel are generally encouraged to transfer their registration to another eligible attendee. Substitutions will be accepted at any time. Cancellations will be subject to a processing fee until 30 days from the start of the event; there will be no refunds after that date. If the cancelling registrant received a multiple-attendee discount and the cancellation results in only one person from that organization attending, the price difference for the remaining sole registrant will be withheld from the reimbursement or otherwise charged to the remaining registrant. All refunds will be made after the event. All cancellations and substitutions must be in writing and e-mailed to [email protected].

When our registration form ask users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number), that information is encrypted and protected by the web browser using the standard https protocol. While on a secure page, such as the conference registration form, the lock icon on their web browser becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked (or open) when a user is just "surfing."

While we use https security/encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our administrator or technical consultant) are granted access to personally identifiable information.

If you have any questions about the security at our website, you can send an email to our webmaster.
