In Case You Missed It
“There is no doubt that we would not be here without the thought leadership and expertise provided by MIE. Participating in MIE was not only the spark, but it served as a great resource as BCF was developing the Invest for More program.”

Shanaysha Sauls
President and CEO, Baltimore Community Foundation
Mission Investors Exchange 2022 National Conference Co-Chair

Do you know how Baltimore Community Foundation (BCF) came to start its impact investing program? In fact, the idea was hatched during MIE’s 2016 National Conference, and its development benefited from collaboration with MIE. Upon her appointment as the head of BCF, Shanaysha Sauls brought BCF’s impact investing ambitions to life and set up what is now the Invest for More program. Find out more about the program and BCF’s efforts to improve quality of life in the Baltimore region in our Q&A with Shanaysha.
