Registration Now Open
Dear MIE Community,
We are pleased to announce the launch of our registration for this year’s Mission Investing Institute, with virtual sessions in September and in-person sessions in November. Reserve your spot today for one of our most popular program offerings—space is limited.
Mission Investors Exchange, in partnership with the National Center for Family Philanthropy, Northern California Grantmakers, and SoCal Grantmakers, is once again offering our signature introductory learning program—this time in hybrid form. Through both virtual sessions and a two-day experience at The California Endowment in Los Angeles, California, our institute helps philanthropy professionals get started in impact investing or advance their practice. Participants will learn from leading impact investing professionals, network with industry peers, and take part in action-oriented discussions with fellow philanthropy and finance professionals on how to apply key takeaways to their work going forward. Learn more about our program here.
We look forward to seeing you at our 2023 Mission Investing Institute. If you have any questions, please reach out to Dan Goldberg.
Mission Investors Exchange creates spaces for facilitating connection and learning for our members and the wider field. Here's what's planned for the weeks ahead.

In Case You Missed It
On May 4, MIE hosted a Virtual Learning Opportunity, “Deep Dive on Deals: Dearfield Fund for Black Wealth”. Through a moderated conversation with Dearfield investors, we discussed the fund’s purpose, investment structure and terms, investment scaling, due diligence and underwriting, legal and closing dynamics, and post-closing monitoring.
