Philanthropy and Government Investing Together For Impact

Learn best practices on how philanthropy and government can work together towards community impact. This Virtual Learning Opportunity (VLO) explains how to partner with local government, identify projects, and how to define roles, responsibilities, and associated risk levels. The presenters will share their experiences and thoughts on the roles of philanthropy and government, and the benefits/limitations of each. The VLO uses a case study to explain what happens when things don’t turn out the way they were originally expected. The presenters also explain how to leverage government funding.
