Deep Dive on Deals: Navajo Power — Investing in Clean Energy as a Driver of Community Economic Benefit
Join Mission Investors Exchange (MIE) on Thursday, October 23, from 10-11:30 a.m. PT/1-2:30 p.m. ET for a “Deep Dive on Deals,” a program series that showcases the inner workings of our members’ investments. This session will explore how the W.K. Kellogg Foundation and Builders Vision are investing in Navajo Power, a majority Native-owned Public Benefit Corporation. Navajo Power develops utility-scale clean energy projects on Tribal lands, creating opportunity and wealth for Indigenous communities.
Speakers will outline how integrated capital can support Native enterprises and how grants can supplement investments to play a pivotal role in maximizing impact. This event will also explore opportunities and lessons learned while investing in Indigenous communities. To learn more about Navajo Power, visit MIE’s Investment Spotlight.
