Oregon Community Foundation Launches Impact Fund
The Oregon Community Foundation (OCF) has launched a $10 million impact investment fund that will provide growth capital to nonprofits and for-profit companies addressing affordable housing, health care and jobs in communities across the state. Initial investments in the Oregon Impact Fund came from the foundation’s donors, with the OCF providing a one-to-one match for every dollar invested.
The foundation’s goal is to raise a total of $20 million.
Prior to creating the fund, OCF invested one half of one percent of its endowment in Oregon-based venture capital funds that invest in early or growth stage companies based in the state.
