Loan to Expand Low-Income Housing in Twin Cities
In the Twin Cities, the F.R. Bigelow Foundation and St. Paul Foundation have partnered to provide $1 million in loans and grants to benefit affordable housing development in their cities. Shared between Habitat for Humanity and CommonBond Communities, the funds will be used to acquire and refurbish homes for families and individuals whose earnings exceed government subsidy housing qualifications, but who can't afford market-rate rentals.
