Join Us for the 2025 Mission Investing Institute
As Mission Investors Exchange (MIE)’s signature introductory learning program, our Institute is designed to help philanthropy professionals get started in impact investing or advance their practice.
The Institute will take place from May 5-7 at the Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs in Atlanta. It will also include an introductory session taking place virtually on April 29 and an optional visit to a successful impact investment site in Atlanta on May 5.
Institute sessions will provide philanthropy professionals with best practices to develop the strategy and capacity for an effective mission-aligned investing program. Participants should expect an action-oriented, interactive learning environment, with space to workshop organizational solutions, apply learnings, and network with fellow philanthropy and finance practitioners.

Similar to families gathering around the holidays, MIE family foundation members will join to reflect on 2024 and look forward to the new year with an emphasis on our goals in impact investing.
Together, we will:
Reflect on our biggest challenges this year and how they have influenced our impact investing journey.
Consider the most significant opportunities we’ve encountered — perhaps they’ve involved impact measurement and management (IMM), a new strategy, or the addition of new board members.
Identify key factors that will shape our work in the year ahead.
Think about what we hope to carry forward into the new year and what aspects of our efforts we might prefer to leave behind.
