Arizona Community Foundation's $1.4 Million Loan to Neighborhood Outreach Access to Health

The Arizona Community Foundation (ACF) continued its support of Neighborhood Outreach Access to Health (NOAH) with a $1,375,000 loan during the third quarter of 2017.

Administered through its Community Impact Loan Fund, the money is being used to modernize and equip two NOAH health clinics in medically underserved communities. These improvements will allow the clinics to increase patient capacity and accessibility to services, including comprehensive medical and dental, behavioral health and substance abuse, geriatric health, and chronic disease management.

The loan is funded through a partnership between ACF, Phoenix IDA, and the Phoenix Community Development & Investment Corporation.

ACF uses its impact investments to leverage its traditional grant making and produce capital solutions that are more robust than grants alone. During the third quarter of 2017, the foundation and its affiliates also awarded more than $19 million in grants and scholarships.
