$75 Million Affordable Housing Loan Program Launches

Local foundations, including Mission Investors Exchange members California Community Foundation and The California Endowment, are teaming up with the L.A. County Metropolitan Transportation Authority to seed an impact investment aimed at providing more affordable housing near the county’s public transit stations. This public-private partnership is called the Metro Affordable Transit Connected Housing Program, or MATCH. The county is providing $9 million matched by the foundations to create a low-interest loan fund for developers to use in their building projects.
