COVID-19 HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICIES & FAQS
Mission Investors Exchange (“MIE”) prioritizes the health and safety of our team members, visitors, program participants, and communities. To reduce the potential risk of exposure to and transmission of COVID-19, visitors and the MIE National Conference (the “Conference”) participants (including attendees and participants at the Conference, which is hosted or otherwise organized by MIE) must agree to our Visitor/Conference Participant COVID-19 Acknowledgment Release of Liability agreement within our registration platform before attending the Conference.
We also ask that you adhere to all COVID-19 related preventative measures in effect at the location you are visiting, including pursuant to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines, as well as applicable guidance and regulations under California and Los Angeles law. MIE will continue to monitor any changes in applicable guidance or law prior to the Conference and reserves the right to amend or modify its COVID-19 related measures, including health screening protocols, in its sole discretion. Thank you for your support in these measures to protect the health and safety of you, our team members, and the community at large.
1. Must participants be vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend?
2. Will MIE require proof of vaccination to attend the Conference?
No. However, attendees and participants must agree to the Health Screening Acknowledgement (below) within our registration platform before attending the Conference.
3. Will there be COVID-19 rapid testing available at the Conference?
Yes. MIE will have the limited ability to provide COVID-19 rapid testing to attendees requiring a test. MIE will also provide attendees with a listing of local testing sites, as needed.
4. What if an attendee becomes ill during the Conference?
If an attendee becomes ill prior to or during the Conference, you will be required to immediately follow CDC guidelines. MIE staff will assist with connections to any resource needs but will not cover any expenses incurred due to quarantine.
5. Will masks be required?
Masks are optional. MIE will have a limited supply of disposable masks for those that need them.
6. What am I agreeing to as part of the Visitor/Conference Participant COVID-19 Acknowledgment Release of Liability agreement?
Participants must adhere to all COVID-19 related preventative measures in effect at the location you are visiting, including pursuant to the U.S.

Notice of Risks
MIE has put in place appropriate measures to reduce the risk of contracting COVID-19 on the Conference premises and at events it organizes, including following applicable public safety guidance. That said, given the evolving and unpredictable nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, including the prevalence of community spread of COVID-19 by asymptomatic people, MIE cannot guarantee that each individual on its premises or attending events it organizes does not have COVID-19 or fully prevent any individual from becoming exposed to or contracting COVID-19. Therefore, by acknowledging below and choosing to enter MIE premises in-person or attend/participate in any in-person event organized by MIE, you specifically acknowledge that you are aware of the risk of becoming exposed to or infected with COVID-19 and you have chosen to accept the risk of contracting COVID-19. MIE makes no representations, endorsements or warranties of any kind regarding the current state of the COVID-19 pandemic and the testing or health status of anyone else on its premises or at events it hosts or organizes.
